Today is my last day of training, after that will act like a pig, eat and sleep. Hahaha
I was having a good Yoga lesson last nite, not too hard, not too easy, it was just nice and relax. The yoga stretching makes me slept better at nite, and body was fully stretched like being massage. Most of the time I was the massager and that’s why I need to know how to self-massage :D
I woke up at 6am today, then put on my full marathon gear with the vest, short, sock, running shoe and waist pouch that I’m going to wear at the race day. I just jogged for about 20 minutes to sweat myself and make the last call to my legs muscle.
My condition was good, stomach muscle pain is recovered. For your information, I was having serious muscle pain at my stomach (inner muscle ok!) during my last training. I was forced to stop running due the severe pain. In fact this was not my 1st time having this problem, normally I can overcome it by slowing down my pace, and have some deep breathes. It just didn’t work this time, so I must stop or else I might be in big trouble for my next run. I was so upset and immediately asked for rescue! As a conclusion, it might caused by sudden fast pace after not running for few days and without proper body warming up.
I also did not feel any knee pain during running. I was quite worry last weekend when I felt the knee pain during hiking to Gunung Berembun with Kam Meng at Cameron trip. I kept this to myself and didn’t tell anyone about it including the trip organizer, Boon Keat. I think it wasn’t serious so I purposely ignore it :P
In fact I feel the pain now when I was walking or even just sitting. It hurts especially when I drive my manual car and walking with high heel shoe! I foresee knee pain after marathon…
Body condition is the only thing that I’m not managed to control, I have no idea what going to attack me at the race day. But I can control my mindset! I’m a bit confused, what kind of mindset suppose to have? Samurai mindset? Or Injury free mindset?
I can’t share with you about Samurai mindset or injury free mindset now until I experience it on Sunday. Stay tuned!
